I get random emails when clicking on an email in inbox.
When clicking on some (not all ) emails in my inbox a random email opens up, leaving me with no way to access the original email. Clicking on the corresponding random email opens that email. I have tried restarting Tbird and the PC but it does not help. This seems to have started after the last Tbird update. Win 10 OS.

The emails that I have opened today all seemed to be the correct body for the header, so perhaps the original problem has been solved.

Attached is an image showing an email from Erwin Flynn highlighted but the preview window shows an email from Laser World.
Try to rebuild the index file of the troubled folder.
Right-click the folder - Properties - Repair Folder
Thanks for you assistance. I've tried rebuilding the inbox. Now that same message has From: Erwin Flynn (the right sender) with a cc: list associated with Erwin, the Reply to: is still Laser World, and with a body from a third sender (Reallussion). The other email this AM that was mixed up has now been deleted. I'll see how this works going forward with a rebuilt index.
Now there is a new problem with displaying emails. I had seven previous email opened in tabs. Now, those tabs show whatever email is highlighted in my Inbox. I tried another rebuild with no change. The emails that I have opened today all seemed to be the correct body for the header, so perhaps the original problem has been solved.
