I have successfully installed Bitdefender Securepass extension on Firefox and enabled it. As far as I know I am not usinf private window but I have no Icon to click on to open

extension as I previously had with Bitdefender Password Manager.

The autostart of the page is attached. It is not possible to disable it. I have tried everything. I have uninstalled firefox and reinstalled it, but unfortunately the page still appears every time I start firefox. Before the update everything was fine, but after the last update it keeps showing me this instead of a blank page with favorites

With the release of Firefox 133, I switched from the add-on Tree-sized tabs to the newly implemented Vertical tabs, and so far I really like the feature. Although, I was wondering if there was a way to reduce the width of the expanded sidebar? Thank you for taking the time to answer my question.

After updating to v 133.0, when maximizing Firefox (not F11 fullscreen), a taskbar that is set to "auto-hide" will no longer unhide when mousing to the bottom of the screen. This did not occur with the previous version (132.0.2).

This behavior is also unaffected by the "devtools.toolbox.alwaysOnTop" setting in about:config as i've tried switching from the default "true" to "false".

Yet another sterling example of why change is usually bad. Why did Firefox, Google and other browsers (though don't know about Duck Duck Go) drop the 100 results per page option? I've always had that enabled and now that it was removed it makes searching extremely tedious and time wasting. Please offer a SIMPLE AND QUICK way to restore this option ASAP. Thank you.

I keep getting pop-ups in the right lower corner from "mozilla firefox" (not sure if they are legit). They will say: "zeus.2020 trojan detected" or "virus detected" or "system is infected", etc. All have "Mozilla Firefox" in the upper left of the pop-up, and "via rgfirewall.xyz" at the bottom. Is this truly legit, or is it just a nuisance? I've just been closing them with the x or dismiss buttons.

I want AI to ALWAYS open when opening the sidepanel. That's why you have a side panel... So how the ... do I STOP Firefox from always opening Bookmarks when the sidepanel is opened?

And No, it doesn't remember last saved choice.

And please fix the ... scaling problem with AI making users manually press UP ARROW to send the message instead of ENTER when the sidepanel is below 40% of the ... screen. This is highly ... annoying!

How do I remove the sidebar permanently. It is now as I said above about 2.5cm wide and growing! I want it gone and none of the solutions give any idea how to do this. The show/hide button only made the damn thing expand!

There is a setting on Firefox that prevents me from responding to comments. I tried on another browser and do not have the same problem. Yahoo sends notifications that there was a response to my comment with a reply button. Although when pressing reply it is suppose dto take you to that comment and it does not. It takes you to the beginning of the comments. I have not changed any settings.

Firefox has become exceedingly slow. I have used Firefox for the most part going back to the beginning save a 2 year stint when Mozilla fell behind and did not update the product in the early years after ver 4. However, the slowness of Firefox is so bad now that I may have to find or use another browser! It is literally that bad! This problem is recent as in the last 45 days as far as my individual needs. I have already gone through the troubleshooting list and made the modifications. That seemed to work for a day or two but the slowness of Firefox is progressively getting worse with each passing day.

The speed is like 3 minutes to 10 minutes when just trying to open a known and commonly used bookmark. Checked against Edge which came with Win 11 and Edge loads within a second or two. So, the problem is not hardware or internet connection. I have one of the fastest speeds on the planet with a true fiber optic connection as I am close to the backbone location in my city. We are talking 2.1gig down and 820MB up. Tested against two different speed tests. The problem is with Firefox specific. Mozilla needs to address this issue as it seems to be an ongoing problem across several IOS platforms.

Why does hitting my Home button open another tab? It's irritating and unnecessary. How do I make it stop?

For that matter, Why can't I open a new tab with my home page already open? I want Duckduckgo. You are bullying me into a blank page or a Firefox page. I used to have a choice.

Over the last 4-5 days I am unable to get online without several restarts. I'm getting the message that the tabs have crashed and now I'm getting messages about incorrect URL's or that I have already accessed something that I haven't accessed. Thank you for your time.

As the title states, certain media elements within Firefox refuse to play with audio, but only with frustrating inconsistency. For example, any videos on Youtube are fine. Any videos on Reddit are fine. But many videos, most commonly on boorus and streaming sites I cannot name here, will not play. The volume on the video slider is all the way up, the Firefox application is not muted, the site is not muted, and the tab is not muted. The only thing that makes those videos play audio is if I left click on them to open them in another tab by themselves. While it solves the issue, it's still an extremely inconvenient way to go about my browsing. I know for a fact that this is a Firefox problem because those same videos on those same sites work perfectly fine within other browsers. Please, does anybody know of a solution to this issue?

Firefox on my 2018 MacBook Pro started having issues downloading all file types after I disconnected Dropbox sync and backup. Each time I try to download a file, a failed message is displayed below the file name and type. The browser was using the downloads folder that was synced with Dropbox. After disconnecting Dropbox, I tried changing the downloads location, but the "Choose" button does not display a window. The result is the same whether the Always ask you where to save files is checked or not.

I have gone through the following steps trying to resolve this issue with no success.

1. I have reset/cleared any configuration setting found using about:config and browser.download.
2. I have launched Firefox in troubleshoot mode and tested downloads with no resolution.
3. I have uninstalled Firefox and installed a fresh copy from mozilla.org with no resolution.
4. I have set the downloads folder in Safari, but this did not provide a resolution. Downloads work as expected in Brave and Safari. The current downloads location is the Downloads directory on my iCloud Drive.

The second screenshot with the error attached in still referencing the Dropbox-connected Downloads folder. No other browsers are using this folder and the Dropbox app has been completely removed from my laptop.

I use Firefox for web development and need to be able to download various files throughout the day, so this has become very frustrating.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

after reinstalling my system i culd not login to my account i have like 9 passwords and your stopid system blecked my attempts like after second attepmt so i did password recovery and changed it but after that all my sync data are gon WTF!!!!! It makes the sync function pointless and usless for its specially for that purpose !!!!!!!
