Hi Ernst, there's no charge for Firefox browsers.
Are you referring to your subscription for a paid product such as Mozilla VPN? If you are on a monthly payment plan for Mozilla VPN, and the card cannot be charged, the product might stop working. However, I don't know how much of a grace period there is for that -- it's not mentioned in this article: How do I update my payment information on Mozilla VPN?
If Mozilla VPN stops working, you should switch it off to make sure your software can connect to the internet normally.
