mozilla crashes frequently
Hi guys, I've been experiencing some problems with firefox during the last month or two. I can open Firefox and usually it works well a first but after some time (could be 15 minutes could be 2 hours) it begins to slow down, i.e. it takes minutes to open a page, it's difficult to open a page in a new window or tab. Then it stops working at all, I can move the cursor on the screen but I can't click on anything. It usually takes like ten minutes to start working again. Then I restart firefox and use it again for ten minutes, then it stops again. I can do this process a few times a day and then it stops working completely, I must turn my computer off because nothing works anymore. Moreover, while I use firefox it often shuts down unexpectedly and a "mozilla crash reporter" window appears. Oh, and sometimes when I close firefox and try to open it again, it appears a window the says that firefox is already open (?). I'm afraid it might be a hardware problem, my laptop also usually becomes too hot and noisy. Therefore I'm not sure if it's a problem linked to firefox or to the laptop itself. Firefox is updated and the plugins are as well. If anyone cares to read and can help me in anyway, thank you very much!

Hello,
The Reset Firefox feature can fix many issues by restoring Firefox to its factory default state while saving your essential information. Note: This will cause you to lose any Extensions, Open websites, and some Preferences.
To Reset Firefox do the following:
- Go to Firefox > Help > Troubleshooting Information.
- Click the "Reset Firefox" button.
- Firefox will close and reset. After Firefox is done, it will show a window with the information that is imported. Click Finish.
- Firefox will open with all factory defaults applied.
