It doesnt accept adding more mails after you have a large number of them, i shut it down, open it, accepts one, then refuses to accept another, it says wrong username password *bull*, shut down, open, accepts it, and this goes on indefinetly. there are some bad days that it doesnt accept anything though, has temper issues i guess.
I know its a free program but since it comes from a respected org it should probably have a bit more than some highschool programming behind it. You can have all the praise you want from 3-mail adresses users, but if your program works its up for us 200+ e-mail adresses users to say. I definately have to say that it doesnt work, its a piece of crap.
I also tried your beta 59 ver. same thing happens...keep it in beta or just say in your release notes that its for 20 e-mails tops.
Thanks for spending my time trying to make your "unlimited email client" accept more than 50 adresses.

How many email accounts can you configure successfully ? You mention 20, 200+, 50... I can't follow what you want to do. Perhaps there is a limitation or some kind of bug past a certain limit.
Once you determine that limit (for example 40), you could create a new profile and use that for other email accounts.
Here are some news about the problem. Thunderbird clashes with AVAST!. It totally blocks almost all of the IMAP communications, it is responsible too for the other problem i encountered (many of you too, as i see on the forums) of the too many cached connections on IMAP servers! If i shut down protection by AVAST i can add as many email accounts as i like and it authenticates. If I leave it running it doesnt let Thunderbird authenticate, it multiplies the cached connections so that you cant receive mails, it totally ruins the Thunderbird services. I dont know if it is AVASTs programming error or Thunderbirds', but i know that you shouldnt turn off antivirus when receiving emails that nowdays are full of viruses. So plz guys FIX THAT CRAP, or give warning that Thunderbird is not working with AVAST when trying to install.
Thank you all, hope that helped.

Thank you so much, wish i had seen it but it is too difficult for the casual user to find that info. It is difficult cause you cant imagine that the av program sometimes lets authentication go through, sometimes not etc... Anyway if you can update that wiki, its AVAST 2018 and still the same crap happens...
Indeed I can tell you from recent personal experience, Avast Mail Shield is a pig
