Zoom keyboard shortcuts stopped working.
When I first installed the firefox on my new operation system install the control + + and control +- made the text shrink or grow big. but now it doesn't work and I'm not sure why unless it was made that why by installing new software or some webpage I visited. How do I get the shortcut to make text grow and shrink again?

Sometimes some addon can change this, try start in safe mode and test again the shortcuts:
You can also use the NoSquint. add-on to change the default zoom level for all websites at once. After setting your global zoom level, you can still fine-tune the zoom on individual sites.
Using NoSquint:
- After installing NoSquint, make sure you have the Add-on Bar displayed:
- Right-click the new tab button ("+") or a blank area of the tab bar to the right of it and choose Add-on Bar from the shortcut menu.
- Click the % on the Add-on Bar to call up site preferences, then click the Global Settings button, then the Zooming tab.
- You can experiment with sizes larger than 125%, but it's not recommended that you go higher than 150% unless you have a large high-resolution monitor.

Do the "Ctrl and +" and "Ctrl and -" keyboard shortcuts and the menu entries in View > Zoom still work?
Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).
- Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window.
No sequint couldn't be accessed the way described and when I clicked on the options button in the extension section the whole program freezes. 2. The menu entries for shrinking and enlarging the text and webpage and restoring to defaults still work, its only the keyboard shortcuts that no longer work.
They keyboard shortcuts Cntr+ and Cntrl- don't work whether I'm in Safe mode or normal mode.
Did you try to reboot the computer?
I did not restart the computer only the web browser in safe mode. Should I restart the computer and then the browser in safe mode?
You should at least reboot the computer whether in safe mode or in normal mode in case of a problem with the keyboard or its driver.
