Firefox showing Serbian/Russian language.
I've run malware scan (everything is fine). I have deleted cookies and cache, and it's fine for a couple of days, and then the Serbian/Russian language comes back. I am tired of deleting cookies/cache every 2 days and having to log in to my email account again and again. Anyone knows what's going on? Might have to give up on Firefox...

Are you talking about the browser or the web pages? Where are you located (city, state, country) ?
Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link} by holding down the <Shift> (Mac=Options) key, and then starting Firefox.
A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?
Thanks FredMcD! I am in Toronto, Canada. (Far enough from Russia;). The web pages were showing non-English language(s). I've cleaned up cookies/cache... good for at least 2 days. If the problem comes up again, I will try the Safe Mode method, and see if the problem persists. Thanks for now!!
What language version of Windows do you use?
You can check the order of the installed languages.
- Options/Preferences -> General -> Languages
You can check the connection settings.
- Options/Preferences -> General -> Network: Connection -> Settings
If you do not need to use a proxy to connect to internet then try to select "No Proxy" if "Use the system proxy settings" or one of the others do not work properly.
See "Firefox connection settings":
FredMcD, The Serbian language creep back, I tried Safe Mode, and it's still showing pages in Serbian... cor-el, Thanks for your suggestion! My Window 10 is in English U.S. I tried 'No Proxy" option. The problem persist.
Some pages choose the display language based on your location.
What do these websites say about your location?
http://whatismyipaddress.com/ Under the map, look for Location Not Accurate?
Hi FredMcD, The links revealed my true location, which is a bit creepy... Even though that doesn't solve my problem, but i learned something quite fascinating. Thanks!
