When I log on my Daily Caller account it says I am logged in, but when I go to the comments section I am not logged in and unable to comment. No amount or signing in changes that. When I go to Google Chrome all works fine. What's going on? Why can't I stay signed in to comment on Daily Caller when I use Firefox? Should I just go back to Chrome?

Dear friends, I recently realized that Mozilla Firefox does not support Windows 7. At the same time you want people to prefer your browser. Why did you stop supporting Windows 7. I think that window 7 is an OS used from thousands of users. I prefer to use this OS and Linux Mint. So, I do not understand your policy not to support this OS. Thank you in advance for your answer!

All of a sudden my new tabs open in "desktop site" and print is tiny. I have to manually go to 3 dots at top right and select button to turn it off. I can't find a setting so my pages open in normal size.

My newly refurbed laptop died A Death a little while ago, and I'm prepping to send it back to the seller. I had the browser on the laptop synced with my Firefox account (autofill my passwords for things etc) and have since unlinked it, but I just need to know that the browser won't be autofilling things if the seller repairs the hardware and fiddles around!

The laptop as it stands is entirely unbootable, and while I know I can remove the HDD and delete my files, it's the browser stuff I'm most concerned about.

On startup, Firefox will restore my previous session if I had clicked Exit but not if I click the X.

I can restore my previous session via recently closed windows, but I don't want to have to do that.

Is this change intentional? Because I consider it a stupid change, and I would like to get rid of it if possible.

I have 4 rows of shortcuts that are being changed every time I visit a new site. How can I lock them in so they won't be changed and to keep them where I arrange them?

During a thunderstorm and subsequent power cut my desktop (W10) would not reboot. Nothing just a black screen. My builder looked at it for two days and determined that it was the processor that had failed. I purchased a high spec refurbished desktop (W11) which I am finding a shock at 74, nearly 75. I have the SSD from the old computer in a USB connected caddy. FF is installed on both computers. How can I get the Bookmarks from old to new ?

I have been having so many problems with Mozilla ( Firefox ) this year mostly due to freezing and the browser hanging. I have tried different fixes including refreshing and removing ad blockers but the problems come back and seems to persist with some sites being worse than others: I really like the layout of Mozilla but I have started using Chrome and Edge and I DO NOT have these issues with those browsers, actually Chrome is super fast and responsive. My question is what is going on with this browser that suddenly it becomes inoperable. If this situation does not change i will have to relegate Mozilla to little or no use except for the VPN version which so far seems fine. Help !

I recently added an entry to my hosts file but Firefox seems to ignore it. I'm using v. 128.5.1esr, fully updated. I've tried a lot of the advice online and none of it seems to work. Here's what I've tried:

disabled "Enable DNS over HTTPS Cleared the DNS Cache changed "Use system proxy settings" to "No proxy". tried troubleshooting mode set network.trr.exclude-etc-hosts to true changed browser.fixup.dns_first_for_single_words to true changed network.dns.offline-local to false restarted FF, rebooted computer

It doesn't work in Chrome either, which makes me wonder if it's a Windows 10 issue. Any suggestions?

Firefox updated to 113.0 and moved tabs to top, above the address bar and the bookmark toolbar is now on the bottom under the address bar ... Is there an updated CSS file I can copy that will restore bookmarks toolbar above the address bar and the tabs below the address bar? So the order would be: Menu Bar, Bookmarks Toolbar, Address Bar, then Tabs Bar? This really is hard to work with. Thanks!

My facebook account keeps getting double logins and ip4 logins rather than ip6 addresses. I think my ex-employer has installed a certificate into firefox on my laptop. I know absolutely nothing about certificates and have never knowingly installed one into my firefox web browser. But after looking I seem to have a certificate, is this certificate something that is allowing someone else access to what I view on my browser or allowing access to my cookies? Would users normally have their own firefox user certificate installed that they are unable to remove with a year on the date? I have added 2 screenshots. Starting last night, every time I try to open a page/website in Firefox the page times out and an hourglass symbol and the words "New Tab" appear in the tab. In addition, clicking on one of my bookmarks doesn't work either and nothing happens in that case. Any ideas?
