Firefox user profile lost (AD roaming profiles)
Hello, I'm having problem with Firefox on one laptop. All computers in company are connected to domain (Active Directory), and are using roaming profiles, to roam user profiles within computers in company. Laptops are using roaming profiles + offline files (so users can access their files, when not connected to company network). The problem occurs when user is connected to company network and is using Firefox, then hibernate computer (it doesn't matter if Firefox is on/off) and run computer on home WiFI network (or with no network) - Firefox is losing all settings including history & bookmarks. The strange thing is - that on other laptops Firefox is working properly (no matter on which network user is connected). I've tried new system install + connecting laptop to domain but problem is still exist.

Are you posting from the sick computer? Have you checked the users profile wherever they are stored? Is there any other issue on the sick unit (last few weeks) ?

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link} While you are in safe mode;
Type about:preferences#advanced<Enter> in the address bar.
Under Advanced, Select General. Look for and turn off Use Hardware Acceleration. Then check ALL of your settings; Browser and add-ons.
Poke around safe web sites. Are there any problems?. Then restart.
I'm not posting from "sick" laptop. Firefox User profile is stored both on server & copy on local disk (Active Directory Roaming Profile + Offline files enabled), and it works properly until user hibernate laptop and disconnect from company network - then after running Firefox bookmarks/history is lost. I also tried running "firefox -p" and creating new user profile, but it's still crashing. Now I have created new user profile with profile folder placed on other location (that is not included in roaming profile) - but it's not a solution, because there's no automatic copy of this files on server.
On the sick computer;
In the address bar, type about:crashes. Note: If any reports do not have BP in front of the numbers, click it and select Submit.
Using your mouse, mark the most resent 7 - 10 crash reports, and copy them. Now go to the reply box below and paste them in.
Some added toolbar and anti-virus add-ons are known to cause Firefox issues. Disable All of them.
