Welcome to a new version of Firefox for iOS (version 40). This release comes with the following improvements and features:

Pocket homepage recommendations available in U.S. and Canada

You can view articles and topics recommended by Pocket on your Firefox for iOS homepage. Pocket is a free service that makes it easy to discover content that’s personalized to your interests. Your Firefox language must be set to English (Canada) or English (United States) to receive Pocket article recommendations. This feature is turned on by default. Learn how to customize your Pocket recommendation setting.

Start on Firefox for iOS homepage after 4 or more hours of inactivity

By default, when you open Firefox for iOS after 4 or more hours of inactivity, the app will start on a new tab and display your homepage. If you open the app after less than 4 hours of inactivity, the app will open the last active tab. You can customize your settings to always open a new tab or to never start on a new tab.
