Some time (a year or longer) ago, I installed a Youtube video download add on. (In previous versions of Firefox) this resulted in a specific Download button that you could push to select and start the download of a video. This button somehow disappeared (i guess this was part of a Firefox update). I currently use FF version 29.0.1.

I already tried a number of different solutions that are sugested suggested, but the button remains invisible. I have read there is supposed to be on add on bar, but whatever i try, it remains invisible. It drives me crazy.... PLEASE HELP!

Best regards, Rob from Gouda, NL.

The Add-on Bar was removed in Firefox 29 therefore certain add-ons that rely on it need the Add-on Bar. Fortunately, this is indeed fixable as a developer has taken the liberty to develop an extension that brings back the missed Add-on Bar in Firefox 29

Have you tried the following?

Menu button > Add-ons > Extensions Check if the extension is enabled.

Then, Menu button > Customise

Look for the icon on the left hand side, if it shows you can drag and drop it either towards the top of the browser or on the Menu on the right hand side.

Otherwise, you might have to reinstall it. Click the link below for the Add-ons website: Add-ons

Please, let us know if that worked.
