Should bookmarks saved on my iphone be visible on my pc ?
I have firefox on PC, Ubuntu and iphone.....
PC shows its own bookmarks and the account folder hierarchy including a folder that contains Ubuntu bookmarks but no iphone bookmarks. Ubuntu its own bookmarks and the account folder hierarchy including a folder that contains Ubuntu bookmarks but no iphone bookmarks. iphone shows its own bookmarks and a folder called "desktop bookmarks" which holds 4 more folders -
"Bookmarks Menu" - the account folder hierarchy including a folder that contains Ubuntu bookmarks. "Mobile Bookmarks" - which is empty "Bookmarks Toolbar" holds all pc tool bar bookmarks. "Unsorted Bookmarks" which is empty.
the iphone bookmarks do not appear to show on PC or Ubuntu.... is this normal ?
Cheers Steve

The sync is fully functional across all devices for everything except bookmarks. The iOS version of Firefox is relatively new, so the sync is not fully operational yet.
This is a known issue. I spoke with some of my colleagues specializing in the mobile version of Firefox and I was advised that there should be a patch for the sync system very soon.
Until then, sorry for any inconvenience.

For the record, the related Mozilla Support KB article mentions that this is currently an issue: Sync bookmarks, logins and browsing history on FIrefox for iOS
Bookmarks: This version of Firefox allows you to sync bookmarks from Firefox on your Android device, or Mac, Windows or Linux computer to your iPad, iPhone or iPod touch. Bookmarks saved on your iOS devices will not sync to your Android device, Mac, Windows or Linux computer.
