macOS 10.15: Enabling the Mac OS X address book has frozen TB 78
I recently migrated from MacBook Pro 10.14.6 and TB 68.11 to a new device - MacBook Air Catalina 10.15.6 and TB 78. Initial TB was working fine. When I attempted to enable/use the Mac OS X Address Book in TB on MB Air Catalina, TB froze. I have been unable to access the program and cannot find how to resolve it. I have closed TB and restarted the device with no change.6811 I attempted to revert to TB 68.11 on the MB Air but ran into error message about the profile from TB 78 not being compatible with the earlier version (68.11 in this case). I have never implemented any of the add-ons so I don't see that as causing the problem. How can I fix this so i can use TB on my MB Air w/ Catalina 10.15.6?

OK now I am flabbergasted. I just checked the TB Address Book and see that my macOS X Address Book is now present. I have no idea how this 'fixed itself' but am happy I don't have extra work to add my contacts into TB 78.

In my next attempt at resolution, I tried restoring TB 78 from a period before I attempted to use the macOS X address book. The same thing happened. So I patiently waited for a reply to my question. This morning, I restored the profile folder from before the attempt to use the macOS X address book - THIS WORKED. I now have a functioning TB 78 on my Catalina 10.15.6 OS. Unfortunately, I am now reluctant to try to use my macOS X address book in TB. That is frustrating because that is where all my contact info is and it means I will have to slowly build the contact info in TB - until there is a resolution for this issue.
