With 4.0 the web sites are all diminished in size and do not fill the screen. I can use "ctrl" + to enlarge but the images are distorted. I didn't have this problem with earlier versions.

The first time I loaded 4.0 and opened the browser I noticed all of the web sites opened using 4.0 are very small and only occupy about half of the screen. Yes, I know I can use "ctrl" + to enlarge the image but this only distorts the image further. I never had this problem in earlier versions of Firefox. This is similar to a problem IE8 had but eventually fixed.

The Firefox Page Zoom feature does a domain by domain level of saving the users preferred zoom level settings, there is no default Page Zoom level setting in Firefox.

Try the Default FullZoom Level extension:

Or the NoSquint extension:

I've tried to download and install both proposed add-on's. The No Squint extension downloaded and installed successfully, but not the Default Full Zoom. Actually, the proposed features are what I had already used (i.e. "Ctrl" +). In short, this information is really not new information and didn't really solve the basic problem. There is just something different visually about 4.0 from the previous versions. Until this issue is licked, I'll go back to a previous version. Thanks anyway.
