Since I updated to Firefox 36 I have major problems with the Yahoo toolbar. Every time I sign on I get every icon they have.

The calendar icon for the toolbar is gone along with the app used to add it to the Yahoo toolbar. I should not have to spend hours trying to correct Firefox's problems. FIREFOX 36 is a major disaster.

I guess Firefox doesn't want us to download an old update. The above link says an "old update" but all that shows up is 36.

Anybody know what happened to the calendar icon??

Hi Hombart, most people following the link in that article complain that there are an overwhelming number of different old versions, operating systems, etc. to click through. Maybe check it again?

As for problems with the Yahoo toolbar, I think yours is the first complaint I've seen about the Feb. 26th release, version 3.2.11 (see attached screen shot), but perhaps they were more focused on getting their Yahoo bookmarks back and overlooked the Calendar issue.

Hi Hombart, you may need to change the update settings to "ask me in advance" before installing Firefox 35.0.1 over your Firefox 36.0 installation. This article describes where to find that in the Options dialog: Advanced panel - Accessibility, browsing, network, updates, and other advanced settings in Firefox.
