If you accidentally close a tab or set of tabs you can reopen them quickly and easily in just a few steps.

How to reopen a recently closed tab

Easily reopen previously closed tabs with an easy keyboard shortcut.

  1. Hold down Shift + Apple + T to reopen your last closed tab.
  1. Hold down Ctrl + Shift + T to reopen your last closed tab.
  1. Hold down Shift + Ctrl + T to reopen your last closed tab.
  1. Use the keyboard shortcut again to reopen your other recently closed tabs one by one.

You can also reopen previously closed tabs with just a couple of quick clicks.

  1. Select History from the menu bar.
  1. Select History from the Firefox button in the top left corner of your browser.
  1. Select History from the menu bar.
  1. Hover your mouse over Recently Closed Tabs in the History menu. A list of recently closed tabs will pop out.
  2. Select the recently closed tab you'd like to reopen.

How to restore all recently closed tabs

Want to restore all of your recently closed tabs? That's easy too.

  1. Select History from the menu bar.
  1. Select History from the Firefox button in the top left corner of your browser.
  1. Select History from the menu bar.
  1. Hover your mouse over Recently Closed Tabs in the History menu.
  2. Select Restore All Tabs. All of your recently closed tabs will reopen.
