Is there a way to put the system buttons in the tab bar?
I want to make the best use of my screen height, so i want the three system buttons (minimize, maximize and close) to go on my tab bar - even when I'm running FF windowed. Firefox (v37.0.2 on Win7) does that automatically when it is maximized, so this should be possible I guess. I made some screen shots to make clear what I'm talking about. I tried disabling the title bar in customize and that gave me some of my screen height back but sadly didn't resolve this issue.
Thanks for reading and any help would be greatly appreciated! bad1080

In theory, you can use custom style rules to move the tab bar up, but if an add-on works, that would be much easier. Maybe this one?

The title of this one is promising, but reviews are very mixed recently, perhaps because it was last updated in 2012:

Yes there is a way to put a system button in the tab bar, you can customize the button with instructions on how to move them:
Hi and thanks for your reply!
Sadly I can't move (drag and drop) the system buttons when I'm in 'customize mode'. Again I'm talking about the 3 Windows buttons on the top right corner (min, max and close). As you can see in my screenshots FF puts them in the tab bar when maximized automatically, that's where I want them to be all the time.
I couldnt find that in the tutorials.

Thank you so much for your answer! The 'Hide Caption Titlebar Plus 2.9.4' add on did exactly what i wanted (after some tweaking)! I tried searching for an add on but apparently i didn't know what i had to look for, so much appreciated!
