Why is Firefox warning me about "Unknown Plugins" installed on my MacBook Pro OS X 10.10.5? Do they present potential problems and am I supposed to do something about them?

The 'unknown' means the plugin checker has no information on that plugin. If any are listed as unknown or research, do not worry about them.
