I am receiving numerous messages that go into a file named blocked. There is an empty trash file but no empty blocked. How do I empty the blocked file?

is that something your anti virus does? it is not something Thunderbird has normally.

Thunderbird automatically put it in the list of files together with Archives, Trash, Blocked,Pending. It never happened with my other programs. I can do a select delete and then it goes to trash and then delete again. I do not like to mix them.
