Since I have multiple e-mail accounts and a lot of sub folders, about 100 in mine first e-mail address, I want them everywhere to have the same look.

Everywhere show the size of the mail and everywhere sort on date. The newest on top. The same columns etc.

Doing this for all my folders, it is a very lot of work and if concentration gets less you make mistakes. Is there a app witch can do this recursive? or.... How difficult is it programming a (such) ad-on?

Try clicking on the far right column select icon to see drop down list and at the bottom select 'Apply columns to ' this will offer options to choose single folders, folders and subsfolders or mail accounts .

  • mailnews.default_news_sort_order
