Receivng "mozilla" allerts recently, 'your bank accounts may be violated', call this number, an 888 number, is this you?
Just in the last two days. An orange screen comes up in a new tab. It identifies as being Mozilla, and that you've detected unauthorized incursions into my accounts through Mozilla. Indicates my bank, and other accounts may be compromised. Need to call an 888 #. Sounds 'phishy'. The problem is, it stops everything on my computer. Requires a shut down. Please advise if this is something you would even do, or is it, as I suspect, someone who has managed to interrupt my browsing, and is looking for more data, in order to scam.

This is FAKE!
Also the company Mozilla does not have any form of support phone# to call.
Try using the ESC key on keyboard as you close the Tab if you encounter it again.
You consider using a extension like ublock to help block these malvertising Ads.

Also, I suggest download Malwarebytes from www.malwarebytes.com and running a full scan. Remove anything it finds
. Whenever you get a message / popup like that;
DO NOT USE ANY OF THE PROVIDED LINKS OR ANY PHONE NUMBERS ! !
Such messages are only Spam that could lead you to Fake Support. Not only can they damage or hack your system, they charge you to do so.
You can report such a site at; Google Report Phishing Page {web link} which is the same when done while on site by going to Help > Report Web Forgery
Help us safeguard Mozilla’s trademarks by reporting misuse {web link}
