Hi, I removed an email account that I no longer use via deleting the account under Account Settings - Account Actions - Remove Account. The email account is now removed, however I am regularly being prompted to provide the password for this removed account. What can I do to stop this message?

Many thanks

Check in tools>accountsettings that there is no entry under Outgoing Server for that account.

Thank you David, I have now done that. I now have an additional problem, after rebooting, I am still being prompted to enter a password for an addressbook linked to that old email. I have gone into my card book. I am able to remove the records in that address book, however I cant remove the addessbook itself. Any suggestions regarding how to stop the prompts for this address book password? Thanks
