All I want is to find out what the System Requirements are for running Firefox. I just spent over 30 minutes on the Firefox website and System Requirements information is nowhere to be found. I even typed System Requirements into the search and nothing came up.

Shouldn't this be very basic, and readily available, information for people like us who are searching for it?

Can someone here give me the procedure from the main Firefox page on which link or links I am to click to find this information? Sure seems like 30 minutes and not finding it is well outside my limites of endurance. Thanks

Okay, you did the same thing my friend did. He also couldn't find out how to get to system requirements from Firefox site. So he had to run over to Google and search it and it gave him the very same link you just provided.

I already have that link but I want to know how to go from the main Firefox site to that link without having to go to Google and search for the link there...lol

the link you provided, which is the same link my friend provided, is a page on the Firefox site...so how do I get from Main Firefox page to that Systems Requirement page without having to go to Google to search for then link and then have the link take me back to Firefox main site?

btw...both my computers can run the browser but if someone else comes here looking for System Requirements they will have the same problem I did so I want to know how to get there directly from Firefox main site so that if any of my friends ask me I can tell them.

Thanks

There doesn't seem to be a link accessible via http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/

If Firefox is installed then it is easy: Help > Release Notes

Usually any website which has a downloadable program on it...one of the first things is that it will give you system requirements. Since I have both an old XP computer and a newer Vista computer, I wasn't sure my XP machine would run it.

It will so I am okay with that...but one of the first things when clicking the DOWNLOAD FIREFOX button should be System Requirements so that anyone with any type of computer and operating system will know if it will work or not.

So hopefully the Tech Support people at Firefox will see this thread and add that to the download section because that is important information to know before anyone attempts an install of Firefox.

It isn't fun when you install any program and it messes up or locks up your computer or fails to run because you didn't know the system requirements ahead of time.

Thanks for the assistance. Now to see if Firefox can put a few lines of text on their site to give System Requirements for Firefox.
