can't load XPCOM

All of the Mozilla support I've read says open Firefox and go to menu tab to start. Problem is, THIS ERROR WON'T ALLOW FIREFOX TO OPEN. IE loads but stops at home page so I can't reinstall from there. This happened when I went back to restore point. I have my "old firefox data" folder if that's any help. Otherwise, is there a disk to reinstall it old school?

Hello,

Could you please be kind enough to explain the problem in a bit more detail. Are you not able to install Firefox on a Windows machine? Or is it that you did install Firefox, but it won't startup due to some XPCOM error. You mentioned that you went through some existing support issues that are similar to the one you are facing; can you please include this in your response, so that we can get an idea of the issue you are facing.
