When I use my PC (main device) Thunderbird shows individual mail folders, on my iPad the default mail client as well as individual account folders has an 'All Inboxes' This is very useful as 95% of my mail will go to one account .... so having an 'All folders' account ensures I don't miss a mail arriving on a less used account.
Is there a way to set this up on Thunderbird?

ich habe ein Problem mit meinem Thunderbird-Konto, das ich bisher nicht lösen konnte. Es geht darum, dass meine aktuellen E-Mails (aus den letzten Wochen und Monaten) nicht mehr angezeigt werden. Ältere E-Mails sind jedoch noch sichtbar.
Ich habe bereits folgende Schritte unternommen, um das Problem zu beheben:
Das betroffene Konto gelöscht und neu eingerichtet. In den Einstellungen überprüft, ob Synchronisation und Speicherplatz korrekt konfiguriert sind. Leider hat dies nichts geändert. Könnten Sie mir bitte mitteilen, wie ich dieses Problem lösen kann?

I have changed my broadband supplier and I am no longer using my old e'mail address. I have gone into thunderbird and updated my account details but when I try to send an e'mail thunderbird is still trying to connect to my old supplier (btinternet). I cannot see a way to change this and would appreciate any help that is offered. I am not even certain that I will be notified if someone puts up a suggestion because I fear that it will be routed to my old e'mail address again.

(1) Is it possible to store emails in both IMAP and local folders so I can access them offline?
(2) Is there some setting that can automatically store all emails in IMAP and local folders?

Hi, I am thinking of converting from MS Outlook (Office365) to Thunderbird. One of the features that I use extensively is Outlook's colour categories, to distinguish between different categories of emails (e.g. client emails, emails relating to infrastructure, etc). This is used for filtering and sorting emails. Does Thunderbird support colour categories for emails and if so, if I use a 3rd party app to convert my OST files to the Thunderbird format (which I understand is MBOX), will the existing categories for my emails from Outlook carry over to Thunderbird?

I have used T/B for years and i have slowly accumulated so many emails that I am getting bogged down trying to manage it all.
Each account has several folders.
I have quick folders and quick filters installed.
I have played with Quick filters but my inbox keeps filling up
I seriously need to change my working practice! Can you help.
Not sure if archiving will help as i suspect it moves the storage issues (which I don't have .....yet) from one part of the disk to another.

Hello, Each time i log in to Thunderbird, a window opens saying “Mozilla Thunderbird Email wants to access your google account”. So I click on "allow" and I receive a message on my phone to which I reply "yes it was me" but it happens several times each time Thunderbird connects. Any idea?
