I did a search to try and fix this. Suggestions included, checking if Private Windows are on, Customizing Toolbar, making sure all extensions are enabled and Refresh Firefox, all of which I did with no results. Before I go nuclear and uninstall/install Firefox, are there any other suggestions to solve this issue?

I use different profiles for different tasks. I have an profile for streaming using a VPN and an other profile connect to my VNC-Servern using NoVNC (NoVNC is a client but has no GUI). All firefox instances lokk the same in panel - the normal red firefox icon. Is there a way to change this icon for each profile? I don't mean the icon i can customize in the *.desktop file. Can this be done with an other theme?

I've been using Firefox for Android for a few years now, and for most of this duration I have set the 'Open links in apps' setting to 'Ask before opening'. Up until around 2 weeks ago this was working properly, however in the past 2 weeks it acts inconsistently and led to issues:

- when opening a new tab and navigating x.com (one example) as soon as I confirm the URL it will open the installed application without asking for confirmation to open the link in the app. If I then close the app and tab and re-enter the address, it seems I more often than not DO get the confirmation if I want to open the link in app or not.

- when visiting the same website through a Google search it DOES consistently ask for confirmation to open link in app or not.

- this affects every URL that links to an app installed on my phone (Reddit, banking apps, etc.)

- at times, if later at any point during the same session (haven't 'killed' the Firefox process/app or rebooted phone) I enter the same URL again (x.com) it again attempts to open the app without asking for confirmation, but fails to do so leading to Firefox just being a blank screen without any possible interaction.

- also in the past 2 weeks, I've had 3 instances where I was using an app in which I had to make a payment, which then opens the payment link in Firefox, from where I then select 'pay with banking app'. I the get the confirmation to open in app or not. I select open app, but it refuses to do so. The confirmation box disappears but the banking app does not start. Pressing the 'pay with app' button on the website again does nothing, it do not get the confirmation box again nor does the app start. I may have had this issue once in the past but it seemed to be related to the banking app at that moment, it now seems to be a more consistently occurring issue.

I have toggled the 'open links in apps' setting back to always on, off, then back to 'always ask' but this didn't fix the issue. Also cleared app cache.

It's a frustrating issue for my daily use, any suggestions and/or fixes would be much appreciated. If I can somehow share relevant logs I'll gladly do so.

I recently downgraded to the stable version of Firefox from beta. I made a new profile and deleted the old one, and it still tells me this randomly. Not sure what to do now since creating a new profile (like it said) didn't work. It's more of an annoyance since everything works like normal, other than getting the error every few hours (or minutes, depends).

I have two accounts on Thunderbird (the latest version up to 2024/12/8). One is Outlook and the other is via IMAP. I find tag function works well in any email of the Outlook account. But for my IMAP account, once I tag any email, it soon disappears after any further operation (e.g., clicking any button). What happened here? Is there any way to fix it?

I have located the setting to allow DRM-controlled content, and it is set to Allow. However any DRM-controlled content I try to play just says "Your browser does not support this media type. Please turn on DRM in this browser or use another device."

This is using the most recent Firefox version, updated today.

Why are we limited to 12 stock photos to pick from? I understand when this feature just rolled out it was limited, but it's been a while now. When are we going to be able to upload our own images? Also, it'd really be nice incorporate themes like Chrome does where you could pick from something like nature backgrounds that rotate automatically on your new tabs page.

My zip code changes constantly when I sign into accounts such as Costco, Sams, Home Depot. I correct the zip and when I sign out and back in, it's changed again. I had Geek Squad run a diagnostic and they said it's a Firefox issue. When I use MS Edge, the zip code does not change. Can I get help with this issue?

When I downloaded Firefox again, it gave me a nice option called “VerticalTabs”. I could also see this option in FirefoxLabs, but when I had to delete Firefox due to a bug on my computer, I could no longer see it in FirefoxLabs. Also, FirefoxLabs used to have an artificial intelligence add-on called ChatBot, but now it is gone. What is the reason?

The column width and spacings in my Thunderbird keep changing. When I restore them they seem to affect other folders. I need to be able to preserve different column spacings in different folders. Also when I try to move columns they drag other columns along, so realigning is a tedious process, not simple.

When i try to print parts of a long g-mail conversation, I mark the part, right cklick on the marking and press "print marking" (or whatever it's called in english). Only about 2/3 of the marking is showed in the printing pre view and printed. Works fine in Crome, but I prefere Firefox. I have tried to re-setting firefox, no improvment. What can I do to print what I want?
