My wife died of breast cancer three years ago. I cannot find a way to stop Google from filling my inbox with ads for women. It's disgusting. Please help!!!
My wife of over 20 years died of metastatic breast cancer three years ago. With most commercial or non profit establishments one can unsubscribe to receiving e-mails from the establishment. I am only a "pediatrician" (LOL) but I cannot find away to get Google from sending me ads to my inbox. It's disgusting and it's depressing. Google is the only group from whom I get e-mails that I cannot unsubscribe permanently. I tried to call them but that effort was a joke. I consider their ads to be an invasion of my privacy but I am sure they do not care.

Unfortunately e-mail spam is a way of life on the internet today. You can adjust the spam filter preferences in your e-mail provider to better protect your inbox, but sometimes you just have to close your old account and create a fresh one.
Note that once a single spam e-mail message is sent to your account, and you click or sometimes even just open it, your e-mail address is instantly marked as valid and is sold to thousands of other lists. Strong filters are the only way to go.
Tyler speaks the truth indeed. There are addons out there for Firefox which you can download and other built-in programs which you get with paid antiviruses which help lessen the incoming mail.
Hope we have helped.
