BT mail premium mail
I can't send BT premium mail through Thunderbird (or Windows Live Mail) via Virgin Media Broadband. It works through a friends Broadband .I can receive but not send. I can send and receive on my iphone . I've checked with BT and they have no issues with anything on my Laptop or with Thunderbird and think perhaps it could be Server setting need changing, particularly the Outgoing Server. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated . Regards Chris Coates

Try to change for the smtp settings the connection security from ssl/tsl or STARTTLS to "None" Pictures and general details https://support.mozilla.org/kb/manual-account-configuration
