unable to shift from 'show unread' to inbox. I quit TB to see if it was a temporary prob, but no change. Sidebar shows 168 in inbox. But at bottom of sidebar under unread folders shows 8. If not showing unread, but all messages, the larger number is prob accurate. Clicking on inbox does nothing.
I've just returned to TB after a few month break on Apple mail. I've always preffered TB, but things seemed to disappear, so I switched. But eventually Apple mail had at least as many probs, and I prefer TB. Hope you can help. thx.

This is the first time I'm encountering this problem and I'm a bit stumped.

Dear Sir,
Since transferring from Heart Internet to Thunderbird, which was forced upon me, I have had numerous issues. Right now, I cannot enter my password as the password that I have is not accepted. In addition, I am unable to access my emails on my Apple cellphone.
I cannot reset my password as I need to be allowed access first and I cannot gain access without my password being accepted.

Add mobile device to Instagram and add link also, I will have to face a lot of trouble.
A draft that was saved to the Local Folder, can't be deleted. Tried right click, nothing works to delete this file and delete function does not work either.

YouTube only on Firefox has terrible stutter/frame pacing issues, most prevalent when watching 4k/60 content. "Stats for nerds" shows a healthy buffer and minimal dropped frames. This issue is not present when watching local videos or on Microsoft Edge. The issue can be alleviated by watching in 1080p60 but stutter/judder is still present. The issue is not resolved no matter what power or performance options I choose in my laptop's settings. Any help is super appreciated, as I really don't want to open Edge every time I need to use YouTube. Thanks!

I've noticed since a few upgraded of Firefox tat I am having an issue loading my local uTorrent GUI at: https://192.168.0.xxx:36724/gui/index.html. I am currently using 132.0.2 x64 and it eventually loads after 3-4 minutes. There are absolutely zero add-ons at the moment, and it does not matter if it is a portable version or standard installed version. I do not seem to have this issue while using Firefox (latest) ESR portable version.
Is there something I'm missing here? I am not sure if it is the port that's the issue with Firefox, because I have a local website using port 9090 and 8080 without any issues on loading. Also, it is happening with the nightly version of FF as well. All other browsers load quickly.

I am using FF on Debain 12 and have downloaded 131.0.3.tar.br2 sha256: fcd1e93221074a7b44445a99d81ea26e95fdc4c7e67000e748dab93cb12c2a13 I then did an update from the FF itself which brought me up to version 132.02 and I noticed that the container tab was missing.
Another Debain 12 workstation running 131.0.3 has the contain tab option.
Has the container tab been removed?

HELP! This new version installed today, and Thunderbird suddenly stopped running and no longer runs. I get the message: "A newer version of Thunderbird may have made changes to your profile which are no longer compatible with this older version. Use this profile only with that newer version, or create a new profile for this installation of Thunderbird. Creating a new profile requires setting up your accounts, calendars and add-ons again."
The message seems erroneous because it is running the newest version. Should I step back a version? If so, how do I do that?

How do I turn this odd feature that dims FF bars when window loses focus? As of look of it only tabbar and toolbar are affected. I couldn't find anything relevant under "about:config". Also some tricks with CSS didn't work for me, maybe because I have custom chromeCSS that brings tabbar under bookmarksbar and applies other customization so that FF window looks like old good FF before they started to put everything on a single line in the bar. I've been using Thunderbird on my Mac for 15 years now. Never had any issues with it. Love it. My wife has been using it on her Mac for the last decade. Again, no issues.
Two weeks ago, Thunderbird was working perfectly on both our laptops. However, overnight, we both started having issues sending emails. Any email to anyone now takes over one minute to send. It is painfully slow.
Receiving emails? No problem. No problems with anything else. Only sending.
Specifically, it's sending it from our Bell email accounts (we live in Canada and use Bell for our Internet needs).
I have a second account using a different domain, and that one has no issues sending. Also, when I send an email using Bell's internet browser portal, it sends instantly. So there's clearly a communication issue between Thunderbird and Bell at this point.
When this problem happened, Bell sent us a text telling us that our 1 GB Internet speed will now increase to 3 GB. That's when our email sending problems happened.
I just spoke with Bell, and they assured me that nothing changed on their end. It's too much of a coincidence to think that they have nothing to do with this. However, after speaking with the tech, I'm wondering if for some reason Thunderbird has difficulties connecting to the 3 GB servers on Bell's end. The reason I'm suggesting this is that my laptop still shows 1 GB per second download speed. However, the modem shows 3 GB. The tech suggested that our laptops can't take in more than 1.5 GB. So it's bottlenecked on our computers' end.
It's possible that Thunderbird also has a bottleneck issue because they can't negotiate the 3 GB Bell servers.
In the past two weeks, I have downloaded the three different updates Thunderbird had to offer. However, we have left my wife's Thunderbird active version it when this problem started. As a comparison. No change on either system. We are both running M2 and M3 MacBook pros, so there's no chance of it being a hardware issue on this end. And again, this problem happened literally overnight.
Help?
