I posted a answer to a question someone had. Where did it go?
I created a UN and PW, so I could answer a question that I found in the forum. I filled in the reply box and hit post and it all went away. I went back and found the question and my answer wasn't there. Where did it go?

I didn't realize when trying to help that I needed to be a contributor, until later.
The question I had had to due with "bookmarks". I had been reading other peoples questions and the answers, trying to find an answer to my own question. All the answers I saw entailed the "bookmarks menu" which wasn't what I wanted. I didn't want to click on each folder to open it. I wanted it like before the update. While searching around in the "menu" I found my answer. I'll tell you and you an convey it to others.
Go to Menu, then Customize, then Toolbars, then enable Menu Bar, then Done. Now access to bookmarks is like existing browser.

Not so easy or would have mayhem in here : Where you the one making all sorts of comments against Firefox, staff . version 57 and such. If you where I reported it and it was am sure deleted.
As to the Question it is still around but is buried deep by now and have no idea what question. It does not work like that. Because you answered something means nothing. It is correct answer to answer ratio that would determine if good or bad.
And you need to Volunteer to become a Contributor
You have me mistaken with someone else.
My answer was to "Bookmark" question. What I found trying to fix my own problem seemed easier that other answers. Just trying to help out
I don't really care that you don't know what the question was because that wasn't the question. Instead you talk down to me sitting on your ivory stool. I can definitely see why you were bad mouthed by someone.

Good answer, to bad you did not follow own advice..... This is your URL here : https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1188000 not this one : https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1188000#question-reply
So if you bookmarked the other one then take the #question-reply off the end.
It happens a lot and duplicate posts because they could not find the 1st one....
Would you like to edit that before you get banned, it is a good way to. Always a chance and no I am at home and a Volunteer.
And I was not bad mouthed at as per : "....comments against staff"
Not reading the answer or not re-reading before press Enter does not help so please edit your answer.
I'll let it ride.
I like this search engine, but I can do without your attitude. You want to bump me so be it.

Hi bughuntr !
I only just now came across your question ......
Apparantly you were trying to help someone by posting an answer in his/her thread, which somehow didn't get sent.
Do you remember what question it was (header of the thread, display name of that OP, anything ?)
Probably a rhetorical question ......
I'm afraid that, without any of that information, we won't be able to track it down (if at all possible).
Thank you for trying to help, though !
