Is there a way to keep my downloaded files and pictures while clearing private data? When I hit clear private data I thought it would just clear my download list and preserve my download pictures. But instead anything downloaded can no longer be viewed and the file says corrupt. I just want it so it clears downloads list but preserves the actual files.

it is possible to do the operation but when you are in normal navigation

By normal navigation do you mean hitting the three dots button while in firefox going to tools and then downloads then highlighting a download and hitting delete? If that's what you mean then it does the same thing. It will clear from the download list and actually delete the image from the download folder making it so I can no longer view the image or what ever I download.
