Hi Sorry nobody has picked up your question yet. Can you supply some more details? - Are the two machines connecting to the same email account, or different accounts? If different accounts try forwarding the emails to the other account. - Are you using POP or IMAP - or one on the laptop and one on the desktop? If both are IMAP, then an email that exists in the Inbox on either one should appear both Inboxes. If you moved the message to a 'local folder' it would only exist on one of them. Copy to Inbox from the local folder should make it appear in both. If POP, then the message may exist only on the POP computer, and need to be sent back to the online inbox. Not a good idea to run two machines using the same account and both using POP, as your messages may end up on one or the other but not both.
