I tried all the solutions listed on the support page for images that won't load and they still won't load. Png, gif etc... just get nothing. I tried to reinstall java because java update had an error message weeks ago when it tried to install update, and the program says the update was reinstalled today, but I got an error message "wrapper" something.

Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of your add-ons is causing your problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).

  • Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

See Troubleshoot extensions, themes and hardware acceleration issues to solve common Firefox problems and Troubleshoot issues with plugins like Flash or Java to fix common Firefox problems

You can also try "Reset all user preferences to Firefox defaults" on the Safe mode start window.

thanks so much. seems to have worked. I was too lazy to go thru checking each add-on to see which caused the problem, so I just uninstalled are the ones that might have caused it--(recent addsons) and it worked.
