If there is a problem with the build-in about:home page then try to reset the search engine used on the about:home page.

Reset the browser.startup.homepage_override.mstone pref via the right-click context menu to the default on the about:config page and close and restart Firefox to restore the about:home page to its default.

1. Open the about:config page via the location bar
2. Type in the Filter bar: mstone
3. Right-click the browser.startup.homepage_override.mstone line and select: Reset
4. Close and restart Firefox

If this didn't help then delete the delete the chromeappsstore.sqlite file in the Firefox Profile Folder and repeat the above.

followed instruction above and nothing changed still cannot search. Only search possible through Aol. Nothing happens when I type in something to search on google on FireFox or on Yahoo. Just responds cannot find site

Are you using a search bar on a web page (if so which URL) or are you uisng the location bar or search bar on the Navigation Toolbar?

If I type in the request, www. etc on the location bar it goes to the site. If I type it on the search bar nothing happens.

You still haven't confirmed which search bar you use.

Use a compressed image type like PNG or JPG to save the screenshot.

I have attached the pix of the screen, I type in something to search in the search area next to google and nothing happens.

What kind of image are you trying to attach?

You can only attach a JPG or PNG image (the forum will convert a GIF) and not PDF or Word documents.

I have tried to attach both a PNG and then a JPG neither stayed with the attachment. Don't know what else to do.

What is the file size of the image file?

You can upload the file to an image hosting service and post the link.
