Mouse scrolling is broken on my Mac using an Apple magic mouse and the trackpad on my MacBook Pro running Maverick on the latest OS version (10.9.2). I noticed this problem on Firefox v 27 and at the same time saw there was an update for version v 28 so I installed it and the problem persisted. I have disabled all of my add-ons and the problem still persists. I have Chrome and Spotify open (along with other programs) and scrolling works as expected in those programs while not working in FireFox alone. When i restart Firefox (still with all add-ons disabled) scrolling works on the inital page that is loaded but as soon as I open a new tab, doesn't matter where the new tab goes, scrolling stops after a few seconds of having the new tab open. I have tried the "always show scrollbars" workaround but that didn't work nore do I want to always display scrollbars anyway. Scrolling is subsequently broken in every tab until I restart FF and the cycle repeats.
