Latest Firefox bugs.. 2 of them
1st bug. No matter what I do, I cannot get Apple.com to down load the latest version of Itunes.
Even if I use explorer, I cannot get the download to actually start.
2. City Data forums. I try logging in. it says I have to enable cookies. I followed the instructions found here, Set my settings to Remember history and allow cookies, and all that..
it still says I need to enable cookies.. I found a City data cookie.. Deleted it.. got out of fire fox, restarted it and again tried to log on.. Could not do so.. again, " you need to enable cookies" error comes up.
any ideas???

Hi Mac Wildstar,
I suspect it is your Add-ons (Adblock Plus 2.6.7 & DownloadHelper 4.9.24) causing these issues.
Try Firefox Safe Mode to see if the problem goes away. Firefox Safe Mode is a troubleshooting mode that temporarily turns off hardware acceleration, resets some settings, and disables add-ons (extensions and themes).
If Firefox is open, you can restart in Firefox Safe Mode from the Help menu:
- Click the menu button , click Help and select Restart with Add-ons Disabled.
If Firefox is not running, you can start Firefox in Safe Mode as follows:
- On Windows: Hold the Shift key when you open the Firefox desktop or Start menu shortcut.
- On Mac: Hold the option key while starting Firefox.
- On Linux: Quit Firefox, go to your Terminal and run firefox -safe-mode
(you may need to specify the Firefox installation path e.g. /usr/lib/firefox)
When the Firefox Safe Mode window appears, select "Start in Safe Mode".
If the issue is not present in Firefox Safe Mode, your problem is probably caused by an extension, theme, or hardware acceleration. Please follow the steps in the Troubleshoot extensions, themes and hardware acceleration issues to solve common Firefox problems article to find the cause.
To exit Firefox Safe Mode, just close Firefox and wait a few seconds before opening Firefox for normal use again.
When you figure out what's causing your issues, please let us know. It might help others with the same problem.

YES and NO.. While it did result in a speeding up of the screen refresh, I still had gaps where when I clicked on something, it would take 10 to 15 seconds for anything to happen.
On 2 occasions I had to shut down fire fox, wait a few seconds, and restart it and again try to do what I was doing..
AND with all the add ons disabled in safe mode, I was bombarded with adverts, that I simply will not tollerate having to see every time I go to facebook.
