describe the problem : in os linux in browser of firefox of Hebrew Language, in option of Preview in Text Encoding, if i Choose change to "Visual Hebrew" or to "Hebrew Standard", so These languages, Do not display good. what i have done so far? Normal use, How it is installed, have this problem.

You see, these days most sites use Unicode encoding, and manually switching encoding is not necessary any more. Both encoding would show you gibberish if you'd use them on a Unicode-compliant site, so it'd be better to keep text encoding as-is so sites would be displayed correctly.

this not solved this problem. i need utf8 not only Unicode so how to fix this?

Again. What happens when you choose Unicode as your page encoding? From your post on hwzone.co.il I understand that you have no issues at all.

I feel that I am missing something.

You said that you are unable to read Hebrew, but I understand this is not the case and you can actually read Hebrew on some sites (if not everywhere). So, please tell us, where are you facing your problem? You should never switch between encoding, because if site is encoded in Unicode it would never be displayed correctly in encodings such as Hebrew Windows-1255 or ISO-8859-8.

Unicode isn't an encoding but UTF-8 is.

As for your screenshots, it might be stored to disk or on your clipboard.

Can you please paste here some of the text you are getting in a wrong encoding and the URL of a page where you are facing this problem?

Note: The most common encoding problems are seeing a lot of '×' characters. This means that you are getting UTF-8 text as ISO-8859-x, or seeing Hebrew displayed as European Latin ("Gibberish"), which means that the text should be encoded as ISO-8859-8.
