I have MailRedirect and have used it successfully. This morning the "redirect" item on the drop down menu is greyed out. Can anyone suggest a way out?

When I select a message I wish to redirect and right click the "redirect" item on the drop down list is greyed out. I redirected a message last night and have received the copy this morning so it worked OK. When I attempted to redirect another message I found that the "redirect" item was greyed out. Has anyone an idea on how to get it working again?

Your computer does not actually clear all it's memory for sometime 10 minutes after you unplug it. Some computers have capacitors that will power say the CPU for several minutes. The result is if there is a glitch at the silicone level it is not cleared bu a reboot. Or even by turning off the power, unless you wait several minutes at least. before re applying power.. Note that in most computers there days the power button does not actually deprive the computer of power.

Is it perhaps not a regular email message, but an rss feed article, or a newsgroup posting? I don't think you're allowed to redirect either of these.

Thanks for the info. I have tried several other messages with the same effect. The message I wish redirect is from the same source and same style as the message successfully redirected last night.

Update. Sorry about the alarm. I've just opened Thunderbird after a shut down of about 40 minutes and the "redirect" option is now available. I had previously shut it down for a few seconds but that did not work. I can't explain this. Thanks for your interest.
