Why has the "Bookmaks" menu choice "Bookmark All Tabs", been removed from version 5.o, I loved and used this valuable feature almost Daily!

This feature was in version 3.6.18, why would you remove it from version 5.0! It allowed users to bookmark all the open tabs on the current window and give it a name. This awesome feature allowed the user to save all the open tabs in case of a system crash or power failure or whatever.

Bookmark All Tabs is still available:

  • right-click on a tab and choose "Bookmark All Tabs"
  • Ctrl+Shift+D
  • Using the Menu Bar
    • Press the ALT key or the F10 key to temporarily display the Menu Bar
    • while the Menu Bar is displayed, click Bookmarks > Bookmark All Tabs

The information included with your post shows that you are using Firefox 3.0.19 to post your question. That version of Firefox is old, no longer supported, and probably has security issues. You should upgrade to Firefox 3.6.18 or Firefox 5, the only currently supported versions.

What?! There is NO "Bookmark All Tabs" choice! At least on my FireFox 5.0 install. I would Not have written the question if it was still there.

I found and installed the add-on "Bookmark Current Tab Set 0.2.3", which does the same thing and it will be MY cure for now.

As for the version 3.0.19 I used to post my question, I used it to make sure my question was accurate and because of all the add-ons I use that are no longer supported, I will hang on to it a while longer on my other machine. Hopefully I won't suffer any security issues.

I Apologize!! I found it. Like you said, by right clicking a TAB in the window and NOT were it used to be at the "Bookmarks" on the main menu (by right clicking). It should have been left where the heck it was, since it makes more sense to me, for it to be at the main menu and Not at an individual TAB. But maybe since some people have the menu bar turned off I can see it being available in Both places ( the main menu and by right click of a tab). The Add-on I added, puts it back at the old location, so to speak. ;-)

THANK YOU!

I could tell by your previous response that maybe you needed a little time to re-read my reply. Did you read the 3rd item about temporarily displaying the Menu Bar and choosing from there?
