    Apologies if I've missed something, but I can't find an answer anywhere. I've got a fresh install of Firefox version 133 running on Windows 10, and I can't seem to install any add-ons. When I click the install button from the add-on's page, it just sits there with the loading animation and seemingly does nothing for several minutes. Attempting to right-click on the download button, "save link as", and hitting "install add-on from file" using that saved link as another user suggested from a similar problem does nothing at all; there's no feedback whatsoever.
    The add-on I've been trying to install is U-Block Origin, but I've tried this with other add-ons to the same results. The only other thing I've tried is installing one of the recommended add-ons from the add-on page directly, Privacy Badger specifically. This causes an actual window to pop up telling me Firefox is verifying the add-on, but nothing happens past this point. It just sits there, eternally attempting to verify the add-on with no progress ever made, and no error message ever spitting out.
    I haven't found anyone else with this exact problem. Hopefully I'm missing something obvious and I can feel really silly about the whole thing soon. Thanks much!

Hello, since I installed the latest update of Firefox (133.0) two days ago I'm having trouble to load videos on some websites it's giving me a black screen when I try loading them so i'd like to know if anybody knows how I could fix this ? I tried clearing cookies, cache and resetting the browser and it still doesn't work.

I know this problem has been caused by the latest firefox update (133.0) because all my videos are loading fine on both Chrome and Explorer but i'd like to keep Firefox so if anyone has an idea how I could fix this it would be very appreciated thanks!

I have manually installed multiple older versions of Firefox for Desktop (Windows 10), as I am translating KB articles and sometimes need any of the twenty latest versions to get screenshots in my language for the translated articles.

When an older version becomes superfluous, I would like to uninstall it from my computer, but that does not work. Even though I see all the older Firefox versions listed in Windows Applications & Features and each of them has an Uninstall button (and a helper.exe file in the uninstall folder in the installation folder each of the versions), the only "action" I see is that I get a warning that the Firefox Helper application is about to make change to the content of my hard drive, and will I allow that? The pop-up asking if I want to refresh Firefox instead of uninstalling, it does NOT appear.

The only time I get a proper response, i.e the Refresh-instead-of-uninstall? pop-up, is when I initiate uninstall of the latest current version of Firefox, in my case Fx132.0.2.

Have anyone else come across this problem?

I have just logged on for the day and the Side Bar has changed. It now has an extra layer making it wider which now pushes a highly used website page off the screen which is very annoying because I don't want to reduce it's zoom any more.

I use the Side Bar to bookmark various links within this website as shortcuts to navigate it.

How do I remove this unwanted extra layer?

The unwanted extra layer is the bar down the left showing my Bookmark icon on the top and the Settings icon on the bottom neither of which I want or need and this is causing the extra width to the sidebar which is upsetting my viewing. How do I remove this new bar?

In Windows 11, the Address Book is accessed via an icon on top left of the TB main page or Alt+2. In Windows 11 is there a similar key combination to view the folders below Local Folders?

On the newest firefox update on Windows PC My PDF reading has been not displaying PDFs correctly on Firefox I tested on other PDF views and they work as normal (All images are normally white with black text PDFs) Sometimes it displays nothing at all (as seen in Image 1) Some pages will display correctly but the rest won't (as seen in Image 2) Some pages will display text but strangely (as seen in Image 3) It does flash white sometimes while scrolling but it still doesn't show text

I just noticed on today's upgrade that Thunderbird showed it upgraded in 32 bit but the Help > About field shows 64 bit. Why is it doing that? Do I possibly have an issue or will all be ok, lol. I'm just confused as to why it would do that and want to make sure there is no problems. Thanks for your help...Debb

A problem with an x.0 version? I've been using FF from "source code" for years on Debian Linux, but this is the first time such an update is failing after the most recent update to v133.0, as illustrated in attached image. How can I now update to the fix for this problem, please?

I am supposed to be on the esr release program, but today I was automatically updated to beta release 133.0. This is the second time this happened. Thunderbird shows a red screen, and recommends I install the last stable release, 128.5.0esr, which is what I want to do. But the last time, when I tried to go back to a stable release, it then wouldn't let me do that because it says the profile may no longer be compatible. I solved it painfully using timemachine backups of older profiles.

What is the simplest, safest way to downgrade, now that I am in this situation? And why is this happening?

Cannot receive new emails after the recent SOFTWARE UPDATE. Have been using MOZILLA seamlessly up till this latest SOFTWARE UPDATE. The mailbox shows the new design but no new messages are coming.

ERROR MESSAGE: Unable to write the email to the mailbox. Make sure the file system allows you write privileges, and you have enough disk space to copy the mailbox.

The latest update to Firefox includes a new Review Checker. It is activated by pressing the price tag in the address bar when on a specific product page in Amazon, etc. This price tag does not appear on my laptop when I am on a product page. Is there an activation method I am not using? How do I get the price tag to appear?

What can I do to have Firefox be compatible with my emails. When I open an email for the local newspaper, the news paper is distorted and enlarged 200% and asks me to sign in. Everything was fine until the most recent Firefox update.

I want to remove the recent update which results in Firefox and some of my email links to be incompatible. The newspaper link works on Safari but I do most of my activity on Firefox.

Also, the email link works fine on Google Chrome. But I hate Google Chrome and don't want to use it. I would prefer that the Firefox browser be compatible with sites such as my local newspaper.

Hi,

Since my thunderbird updated two weeks ago I am unable to open attachments properly. They seem to open as a web page not displaying all the information. Also my emails are in large font and not displaying co9rrectly. The interface is also a lot smaller in general.

Can anyone help please to restore to normal settings.
