Firefox crashes
Firefox Crashes All The Time You Never Know When, This Has Been Going On For About 6 Months. I'm Getting To The Point That I'm About To Do Something I do Not Want To. Thats To Use Internet Exployer. I Have Reinstalled Firefox, Refreshed Firefox, Ran I Don't Know How Many Virus Scans. I'm Lost Is It In Firefox Or On My Compuer. It Crashed While I Was Trying To Type This. - Enter about:crashes in the Firefox address bar and press Enter. A Submitted Crash Reports list will appear, similar to the one shown below.
- Copy the 5 most recent Report IDs that start with bp- and then go back to your forum question and paste those IDs into the "Post a Reply" box.
Note: If a recent Report ID does not start with bp- click on it to submit the report.

That is a crash report that involve memory cleanup (garbage collection).

The cause of such crashes are usually not easy to diagnose, so you will have to check some common crash causes.
Try to start Firefox in Safe Mode by holding down the Shift (Mac: Options) key.
You can check for problems with current Shockwave Flash plugin versions and try this:
- make sure you have the latest Flash version:

In your crash report, on the Modules list, there is a reference to "RocketDock.dll" without any other information. That sometimes indicates that this module was in the process of launching and something went wrong during that operation.
If you see a pattern of this in your other crash reports, perhaps there is a compatibility issue with RocketDock (if you have such a program), or some other software which uses that DLL.

thank you - due to the range of error signatures, i would speculate that your hardware might be involved in the issue. can you test the integrity of your RAM with a tool like www.memtest.org ?
Could you also test in Firefox's Safe Mode? In Safe Mode, Firefox temporarily deactivates extensions, hardware acceleration, and some other advanced features to help you assess whether these are causing the problem.
If Firefox is not running: Hold down the Shift key when starting Firefox.
If Firefox is running: You can restart Firefox in Safe Mode using either:
- "3-bar" menu button > "?" button > Restart with Add-ons Disabled
- Help menu > Restart with Add-ons Disabled
and OK the restart.
Both scenarios: A small dialog should appear. Click "Start in Safe Mode" (not Refresh).
It may take several hours to judge whether there is an improvement.
