Hi !
You say that you downloaded JavaScript, but you
probably downloaded Java ....... (?)
Plugings like Java are no longer supported in the regular release versions of Fireox; only in the ESR versions.
The regular release of Firefox 52+ only allows one plugin, which is Flash. The Extended Support Release (ESR) of Firefox 52 + will still run Java, Silverlight, etc.
You can download the ESR Firefox version here :
https://www.mozilla.org/firefox/organizations/all/
But I don't think you really need Java (?)
JavaScript should be enabled by default - to make sure it is,
would you do this, please :
Type in the address bar about:config (press Enter) (promise to be careful, if asked) Type and look for the preference : javascript.enabled and make sure it's value is set to true
Then, would you please take a look at the article :

Did not fix anything.. I can't find error....I still get error as nothing has changed.. The Javascript is at true so that's not an issue.. I up graded to 53.03 32bit Should I go to 64bit?
I'm down loading the 64bit and will run that to see what happens..
JavaScript Required We're sorry, but Facebook doesn't work properly without JavaScript enabled. If you can't enable JavaScript try visiting the mobile-optimized website.
Still getting this error... UGH!!! It says I have to go to my browser and enable javascript ??? How do I do that..I've looked all over in setting to find this and enable it.. UGH..

My fellow contributor 'jscher2000' posted this years ago and it fixed the problem then :
As a test of how Firefox runs "uncustomized," could you create a new Firefox profile. In addition to bypassing current add-ons and custom settings, it should have completely fresh settings databases and a fresh cache folder.
Close Firefox and start up in the Profile Manager as described in this article: Use the Profile Manager to create and remove Firefox profiles
Then click Create Profile and accept the default location (to avoid data loss, do not choose any existing folder containing files). Any time you want to switch profiles, close Firefox and return to this dialog.
