hey guys my browser constantly crashes when I try to 'save image as' or 'save image'.This issue is happening with other browsers as well. It also crashes when I try to upload an image...this is my first post sooo I really dont know what other info to provide...plz help thnx

If other browsers have the problem, it is not a Firefox problem. Are you using a firewall? Perhaps it is causing a problem? Have you tried a different firewall? What about the antivirus? Could it be acting up?

I am using eset nod 32 antivirus...dont have a firewall.I have tried disabling both but the crash still persist..I have put my crash id in system details if you could please have a look. thanks

iDeviceEx.dll looks like the cause. According to this - http://www.sevenforums.com/crashes-debugging/174450-crashing-explorer.html - that DLL is related to iPhone software.

Last posting on that page:
"Hello, problem solved by going thru tools -- folder options---untick - Launch folder windows in separate process... I had it ticked once... Now whenever I plug my iphone explorer will not crash."

See if that solves it for you.

Interstingly enough i do have an iphone and im using Windows 8 and i got this same error - Application crashed when browse dialog box showed up (on itunes, on chrome, etc)

I read that answer to untick - Launch folder windows in separate process.. and it was already unticked so instead i enabled it and voilá problem solved =)

I was in doubt if this was a problem related to iphone or with windows 8 ty
