This Connection is Untrusted
You have asked Firefox to connect securely to www.authenticate-cardholder.com, but we can't confirm that your connection is secure.
Normally, when you try to connect securely, sites will present trusted identification to prove that you are going to the right place. However, this site's identity can't be verified.
I even get it when i ask for a firefox health report [this after just being refreshed]

With the newest Firefox, some Security Certificates have been disabled because of issues with new mal-ware. Can you check with the site on what Security Certificates they are using? (SSL and TSL encryption protocols)

Run your website through https://www.ssllabs.com/ and you can see all security issues that need to be fixed.

Well Guys none of that worked. half my battle is simple sites including yours stop me, ive just lost sync and now cant sign back in cause it says accounts isnt secure ...."You have asked Firefox to connect securely to accounts.firefox.com, but we can't confirm that your connection is secure.
This site uses HTTP Strict Transport Security (HSTS) to specify that Firefox only connect to it securely. As a result, it is not possible to add an exception for this certificate.
accounts.firefox.com uses an invalid security certificate.
The certificate is not trusted because the issuer certificate is unknown.
(Error code: sec_error_unknown_issuer)"
The SSL Labs test came back with all ok except TLS compression - yes insecure, SSL2 handshake -no, In mixed content all was no except images which was a passive -yes. It also failed on web sockets -- active but failed.
Did you check who is the issuer of the certificate via the steps I posted above?

Sorry, I missed that the certificate is issued by your Kaspersky anti-virus software.

Don't know if the procedure posted here still applies:
Hi the good news is that following installing the cert it has worked ...partly! [for anyone following this with same problem scroll to the end of the document and then view and install from the cert not using next on main page - for some reason it didn't install although it said it had installed]
It appears most of my functions are now back but im still getting plan text on some pages ..ie a paypal payment page [ see image [hopefully ] the links if you can see them work its just plan text aligned to the left of the page, i tried a reload, it did he same . [it screamed about it being untrusted but allowed me to continue] - I used another browser in end which was worked fine. This page , addons, & sync all appear now to be working.
If you ever made an exception to visit websites then make sure to remove those exceptions, so they can't interfere.
