Hi, I just got this problem today. I'm using an Android Nexus 5x device and have been using Firefox as my browser for Facebook. I've always had the ability to watch videos, but as of today I can no longer play videos over Firefox. I have not done any updates, I have not installed any new apps, or add-ons, or done anything with my phone. Just simply out of the blue I lost ability to watch videos on Facebook over FireFox. My friend reports he is still able to watch videos over Google Chrome. Also he is able to watch videos in HD/HQ resolution over Chrome, while in the past when video playback did work on Firefox, I was never able to see anything other than the lowest resolution quality. I'm a Firefox fan and would not like to switch over to Chrome. Please help!

What happens when you try to play a video?

In my case, it opens up a new tab saying "You must log in first". Then, when I log in, the video works. So in my case, it seems to be a restriction being imposed by Facebook (which they don't impose on the Android Chrome browser).
