How to recover history deleted by CCleaner?
Hello! CCleaner accidentally deleted not only cookie-files of Firefox, but all the history too. I've tried to recover the "places.sqlite" file with such softwares as Recuva and HstEx, but it didn't find the "places.sqlite" anywhere on hardrive, including the Mozilla folder in AppData. Is there any way to recover history? For example, with Firefox account synchronization.

Hi sueowna, See the suggested solution to see if this resolves your issue : I've just cleared my browser history with ccleaner by mistake and I don't want it to sync to other machines. {link} Let me know if this helps.
Hi WMagicModel,
Thank you very much! This solution helped me!
However what should I do to login my Firefox account in browser, sync it and don't lose recovered history? Will the recovered history still be there if I simply login?
Hi sueowna,
Are you just looking to recover browsing history?
Or more like bookmarks?
Thanks

Just to recover browsing history. My bookmarks weren't deleted
AFAIK once history is cleared and unless you have a saved profile that has the most recent that would be the only other way to find the past history but if none exits then clearing history means it's gone.
You can look at a utility to browse System Restore points to see if you can find an older copy of places.sqlite.
You can use the button on the "Help -> Troubleshooting Information" (about:support) page to go to the current Firefox profile folder or use the about:profiles page.
- Help -> Troubleshooting Information -> Profile Directory:
Windows: Show Folder; Linux: Open Directory; Mac: Show in Finder - https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/Profiles
The profile folder is in a hiden location in "AppData\Roaming".
- C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\<profile>\
