I recently tried logging in to my account at a financial institution and in addition to my user name and password they wanted to send me a verification code. I have no means other than e-mail to receive the code so I cannot log in. E-mail is not one of their optional ways to get the code. They say they have not changed their procedures. Could there possibly be something in the latest Firefox updates that could cause this problem?
