I was able to send emails to all of my contacts until a week ago when two contacts at USCG.mil have been rejected. I have reset the computer, manually loaded the addresses, tested other address and everything appears fine, but not to them. Any suggestions?

I switched to another mailing provider and before this I made an export of the mailbox. The Imap account was deleted at the provide, so my mailbox is lost. Now I tried to import the mailbox again, but the import fails.

I tried the import manager, but every time after import only empty local map are left. After this I tried the different options (profile of files), both gives the same results, showing an empty map. Then I tried the addon ImportExportTools NG 14.1.2. During the import TB shuts down. When TB starts after the import, for about 10 secs it shows the mailbox with the imported mails. Then unfortunaly all the email dissapears. Could anyone help me with this issue?

Email errors started occurring on or about November 25, 2024. Multiple calls and tech support with Spectrum techs and hours of troubleshooting brought about O results. I obtained all necessary protocols for configuring email to Spectrum requirements and for sending and receiving, but I still get outgoing errors. I have been using Thunderbird for 5 years or more now and never had any issues until now. Upon inspection through Thunderbird tools/setting/ looking at "SAVED" passwords, I no longer see "IMAP" or "MAIL" access protocols. It was there previously. I also disabled all my firewall and vpn settings and still cannot send out any emails. I have thoroughly checked out both my personal email setting and my small business email settings and everything as it relates to Spectrum is correct. Spectrum said one thing they found was that the email settings (specifically, would not resolve with the server because of a syncing problem). Spectrum did all they could to resolve on their end, but the issues, as they see it now resides on the Thunderbird side. In an effort to resolve the issues, the Spectrum tech looked and looked for a phone number for Thunderbird and said this is the first time he has never found a number that one can call for some sort of assistance. Emails directly to Thunderbird are very, very slow. And to compound the issue, there are no lists I could find is a repository for error codes and no valuable tech support or specifications could be found that provides any real help for resolution. So now I am making a last ditch effort to contact Thunderbird for a one on one phone conversation that will resolve all the issues I have encountered. Hopefully with your immediate reply, we can resolve these issues and I will be able to help others resolve these same issues. These issues are not just isolated to me. There are literally hundreds maybe even thousands of people out there with the same issues. PLEASE contact me asap. Thank you for your time. (PS. I do receive some messages via email, but sending out is the issue)

As the title states, certain media elements within Firefox refuse to play with audio, but only with frustrating inconsistency. For example, any videos on Youtube are fine. Any videos on Reddit are fine. But many videos, most commonly on boorus and streaming sites I cannot name here, will not play. The volume on the video slider is all the way up, the Firefox application is not muted, the site is not muted, and the tab is not muted. The only thing that makes those videos play audio is if I left click on them to open them in another tab by themselves. While it solves the issue, it's still an extremely inconvenient way to go about my browsing. I know for a fact that this is a Firefox problem because those same videos on those same sites work perfectly fine within other browsers. Please, does anybody know of a solution to this issue?

Firefox on my 2018 MacBook Pro started having issues downloading all file types after I disconnected Dropbox sync and backup. Each time I try to download a file, a failed message is displayed below the file name and type. The browser was using the downloads folder that was synced with Dropbox. After disconnecting Dropbox, I tried changing the downloads location, but the "Choose" button does not display a window. The result is the same whether the Always ask you where to save files is checked or not.

I have gone through the following steps trying to resolve this issue with no success.

  1. I have reset/cleared any configuration setting found using about:config and browser.download.
  2. I have launched Firefox in troubleshoot mode and tested downloads with no resolution.
  3. I have uninstalled Firefox and installed a fresh copy from mozilla.org with no resolution.
  4. I have set the downloads folder in Safari, but this did not provide a resolution. Downloads work as expected in Brave and Safari. The current downloads location is the Downloads directory on my iCloud Drive.

The second screenshot with the error attached in still referencing the Dropbox-connected Downloads folder. No other browsers are using this folder and the Dropbox app has been completely removed from my laptop.

I use Firefox for web development and need to be able to download various files throughout the day, so this has become very frustrating.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

When right-clicking, neither Languages nor Check Spelling is displayed in the context menu. The language pack and dictionary are activated. In the settings, the checkbox for "Check spelling as you type" is selected, and the current Firefox version (133) is in use. However, no spell check is performed. I don’t know how to adjust the settings so that the options are visible and selectable in the context menu. I would appreciate your help. Thanks so much!

My thunderbird recently crashed and stopped working (windows version 11 Pro Version 23H2) . The program seemed to freeze and after I got it closed it is not opening back up. I tried closing all of the background processes through the task manager and when I tried to open it again it will open a blank window, list it as not responding, and then close the interface with no ability to do anything beforehand. Tried using the repair option in settings, same response. Tried to reset the app, same result. Tried uninstalling version 128.1 and then installing version 128.5, no errors reported on uninstall or new version install but it still just opens a blank screen, says the program is not responding, and closes the window without anything else appearing. I tried restarting the computer (soft and hard restart) and get the same response. I need to be able to use my inbox manager or I need to move to another program. Thanks.

My checks are not printing properly. The recipient's name and amount of check shows but the written out amount of check is missing. Is there some setting that can fix this? I have had other issues recently with printing out things that might flag a privacy setting- such as medical test results. They just won't print. Please help!

Since your last update, sending message by Thunderbird is problematic. When checking, the menu flashes quickly, out of all control. Impossible to cancel, send, correct. You can absolutely do nothing. After a while (2-3 minutes of this flashing and it's long...) The message is sent. Before updating, this problem did not exist. Please do the necessary to remedy this bug. Thank you for your help. Thunderbird recent Nebula esr updates have failed. So I have downloaded latest updates and reinstalled with same selections. Update history shows no updates installed yet!

Since latest Version 128.4.4esr Build ID 20241118214310 email access does not work after initial open or log on Startup. Get New messages All accounts or each Account show no activity. I now need to quit/reopen again to start receiving messages, then all continues well until another update or log off! It often takes a day before I notice no emails then I get 100+!
