I want to sync my Thunderbird calendar on my win11 laptop with my new Samsung Z Flip 6 phone. I have a Google calendar on the phone, and I've ticked "Lightning" on it, but I'm not getting my entries transferred from my laptop.

Can anyone help, please?

When clicking on a search link in firefox for ios, it does not open a new tab, which it used to do. I prefer that, if I need to do more searches from the search query. It is an issue on both iPhone and iPad, but not on pc (Mac or Linux).

hello, most probably we went way over what's supposed to be as regards thunderbird folders. one of these folders (with some 5,7 Gb content) finally sort of lost all its subfolders, sub-subfolders and emails. the files are there on the disk, but Thunderbird can't see them anymore. I tried to fix it with the available button, but after 8 hours it was still stuck at the very first step (don't know if there are more, really). also I searched online and found some interesting solutions, among which ne pointed at removing the panacea.dat e global-messages-db.sqlite files in order to force Thunderbird and rebuild its index. I am running v 115 though and there's no panacea.dat here. I wonder if there is any new procedure to get the same result... or else, whatever viable solution that could make me recover the former folders structure. of course, the first thing I would do after recovering would be to simplify the structure and/or reorganise in order for the folders to be less heavy, according to any suggestions of yours... that would be more than welcome :) thanks, kind regards

When playing YouTube videos the time remaining counter that's supposed to appear in the lower left corner when you tap on the screen isn't showing. Tapping on the screen only shows the progress bar.

The counter functions in chrome, DuckDuckGo and opera.

Après utilisation de la fonction de recherche par mot clé, par la loupe dans le menu par appui sur le bouton en bas à droite (3 barres horizontales), et après avoir fermé la zone permettant de saisir le mot clé, durant la navigation suivante et lors du balayage de l’écran vers le bas pour voir le haut de la page visitée et faisant normalement apparaître la barre avec l’URL en bas de l’écran, cette URL apparaît décalée vers le haut au dessus d’une zone vide grise comme le fond et qui occupe la moitié de l’écran de mon iPhone SE, comme si cet espace était réservé pour servir à afficher le clavier (mais celui-ci ne s’affiche pas ce qui est normal puisqu’on a quitté la fonction de recherche par mot clé)… Merci d’avance pour votre aide. I have a Firefox account, I have a Bugzilla account (not used for a long time but was able to log-in back!). I try to understand the detail of some security bugs listed in the Firefox release notes by following the link (to bugzilla.mozilla.org) at the bug ID#... but I always get the reply from that site that I am not logged in with the "appropriate permissions". Actually, when I look at my Bugzilla profile (I am indeed logged in), I can't see any permission for that account. Who defines the permissions? When? What/who could change them? On what basis? Where/whom is the request to be sent to if any? Thanks in advance for the help.

Have in the past received occasional e-messages where I needed to go to a file-sharing site to open pix. That is the extent of my understanding of file-sharing, how to file-share my e-message with the .mp4 files attached, etc., etc.

PC here; Windows 10.

So how can I file-share my message with .mp4 attachments?

I need to put all my physics books marks into a physics folder. I created the physics folder without a problem. Then I went into one of my bookmarks and tried to edit the bookmark. It will say physics at the bottom when I switch the folder that bookmark is supposed to go in. But when I go back, the physics bookmark is not in the physics folder

The last few days I am unable to send emails as I get an error message which said there is a SMTP error - I have checked it & cannot see what the problem is

I was also unable to receive emails for a day or two but that has now corrected itself

Have used Thunderbird for many years and would like to continue but this problem makes it impossible

I would like to donate but don't want to when this problem exists as it makes it un-useable

Hello all. I am experiencing 2 problems with sync. First is the older issue. I have new phone, an S24, with a similar problem that the old phone had. It is showing up under devices, unlike the old phone, an A71, but, it isn't syncing with my other 2 devices, just like the old phone. The newer issue is, while I was trying to fix the sync issue, I lost all of my tabs {for my S24}. My history & bookmarks are there, but not the tabs.

My other 2 devices are synced with each other, for quite a while now. They are: a Galaxy Tab 7 & an HP windows 11. They stay at home. My phone goes with me. I have tried a whole list of steps; this list is not in order:

• restarted all 3 devices.
• closed all tabs on S24.
• updates are on auto; Firefox just updated on all 3.
• checked all settings for S24. The other 2 devices are fine here.
• closed/reopened app on S24.
• signed out/back in on app on S24.
• uninstalled/reinstalled on S24, after I deleted the cache, not data.
• then I had trouble signing back in, finally, it worked.

Does anyone have any suggestions? The S24 does not show up at all on The Tab 7, but it does, without the name, on the laptop. It also shows up under Firefox's list. All 3 are using the same wifi/network, the same internet security, the same password manager, & the same vpn, which has the same dedicated vpn. I admit to having a separate issue with the dedicated, which is affecting the laptop & S24. Idk if this has anything to do with anything.

Hopefully this is something that can get answered quickly. These past few days I have not been able to use FireFox on my laptop.

It doesn't seem to be a wifi connection issue because other browsers work and other devices are connected just fine.

I also tried opening FireFox in the "troubleshoot" mode, but I am still receiving the same errors. I would appreciate any help I can get on this issue.
