Nothing I do will remove a bookmark from my "unsorted bookmark" list. Help!
I have a very long list of Unsorted Bookmarks. When I go to a bookmarked page I wish to remove and click the blue star, the star jumps to the next icon on the right. If I click the star again, I get the "remove" option. I click remove, but my Unsorted Bookmark list is unchanged. What do I do?

Problems with bookmarks and history not working properly can be caused by a corrupted places.sqlite database file.
Type about:support in the address bar and press enter.
Under the page logo on the left side you will see Application Basics. Under this find Profile Folder. To it’s right press the button Show Folder. This will open your file browser to the current Firefox profile. Now Close Firefox.
Locate the places.sqlite file. Then rename or delete it. Restart Firefox.
Open the Bookmarks Manager. Press the Alt or F10 key to bring up the tool bar. Then select Bookmarks. Hot key is <Control>(Mac:<Command>) <Shift> B.
From here you can do as you need.
All that did was erase (and then restore) the icons in my Bookmarks list.
you might be trying to do something more complicated but to remove an individual bookmark, right click and delete.
You would be better off without your Conduit Plugin 1_0_0 . Google for information and removal advice. Do you use it for anything? Do you know where it came from?
Make sure to remove all places files including places.sqlite-shm and places.sqlite-wal and possible corrupt files.
You can check for problems with the places.sqlite database file in the Firefox profile folder.

I'm talking about the dropdown Bookmarks menu from the Firefox toolbar at the top of the screen. Nothing I do will delete a bookmark from that list.
When it comes up . . . . STOP ! ! Using the arrow keys, highlight that entry, then press Delete.
